— A caller at 10:58 p.m. Tuesday reported what sounded like heavy breathing followed by a knock at the back of her residence on Pine Hollow Road, Elkrun Township. A deputy checked the property and could not locate anyone. — Deputies at 10:23 p.m. Tuesday assisted a local EMS agency with a medical call on Oak Grove Road, Washington Township. — A deputy was dispatched at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol in checking an alarm going off at the Kent State University Salem campus bookstore on state Route 45. — Officers recovered approximately 20.75 grams of suspected drugs which were sent to BCI following a traffic stop on state Route 11 on June 12 at 12:14 a.m. K9 Rebel conducted an open-air sniff and alerted on the vehicle originally stopped for no license plate light. A passenger in the vehicle was placed in the backseat of the cruiser during the search. Following the search the occupants of the vehicle were released with the driver, name, age and address not provided, receiving a citation.
