— Village police responded at 10:26 a.m. Wednesday to the Greenway Bike Trail to investigate a shirtless man acting strangely. Cyclists had reported that he was “removing his clothing while approaching people on the bike trail,” causing panic. They found the subject just west of the main parking lot. The man relayed that he wasn’t doing anything wrong and was just trying to get home. A deputy checked the property and could not locate anyone. — Deputies at 10:23 p.m. Tuesday assisted a local EMS agency with a medical call on Oak Grove Road, Washington Township. — A deputy was dispatched at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol in checking an alarm going off at the Kent State University Salem campus bookstore on state Route 45.
