ELFD raising funds for breast cancer through T-shirt sales

EAST LIVERPOOL — After about a three-year absence, the East Liverpool Fire Department has brought back its Fire Department Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies. The shirts and hoodies are only available for purchase for a limited time, and the proceeds from the sale of the shirts will be donated to local breast cancer organizations. NEW WATERFORD — The Village of New Waterford is working to fill the water plant supervisor position. Village Council approved Brandon Gates’ resignation during the August regular meeting. Gates served as the water plant supervisor for nearly seven years before tendering his resignation.
