CPR CLASSES SCHEDULED FOR JULY NEW CUMBERLAND, W.Va. — The Hancock County Health Dept. will offer Basic Life Support and Heartsaver classes in July. The BLS class which includes CPR and AED training geared toward healthcare worked is slated from 9 a.m. to noon on July 7. A written exam is mandatory. Cost is $25. The Heartsaver class which includes first aid, CPR and AED training will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on July 28. Cost is $50. Written exam is optional. A student handbook will be available for $5. MUNICIPAL LISBON — A Columbiana County jail inmate who allegedly escaped from East Liverpool City Hospital and a man who allegedly lied to deputies about the ride he gave him both had their cases bound over to the county grand jury. Joseph R. Adams, 48, Holliday Street, East Liverpool, waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday in county Municipal Court for escape, a second-degree felony, and vandalism, a fifth-degree felony.
