Sheriff’s Office — Deputies at 4:50 a.m. Aug. 10 responded to a report of an assault at a property on Signal Road, Fairfield Township where a man reported there was an altercation between him and another male who kept trying to prevent him from leaving in his vehicle by opening the door and standing in the way. The man said he exited his vehicle and struck the other male who fell to the ground and was still there when he left the scene. Deputies spoke with the other male, who did not wish to pursue charges.
