Nastari runs at Big Ten

INDIANAPOLIS — Penn State junior Kaleb Nastari did not get to the finals in Big Ten Indoor Championships at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Nastari, a United graduate who holds Ohio’s high school record in the half mile, finished 16th out of 27 runners in the men’s 800-meter preliminaries Friday. His time of 1:49.91 was sixth in his heat. The top two each of three heats plus the next two fastest times qualify for the finals Saturday. Nastari had a career-best 1:47.19 earlier this year. Big MAC rules state bowling COLUMBUS — The Midwest Athletic Conference ruled the Ohio Division II boys high school bowling tournament Friday. Three MAC schools reached the semifinals at H.P. Lanes with St. Henry beating Coldwater in a match that went five baker games.
