Vikings pound Rebels
LaBrae 14, Crestview 5
LEAVITTSBURG — Shelby Bragg went 4-for-4 with a first-inning home run and a triple in leading LaBrae past Crestview, 14-5, in five innings Tuesday.
Bragg also drove in three runs and scored three more.
Riley Rowe homered in the fifth inning and scored three runs. Mariah Jones doubled, singled twice and scored three runs.
LaBrae moves to 15-6, while Crestview drops to 9-10.
Makayla McKee led the Rebels by going 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Alivia Shetler had two hits and scored there runs and Gia Depace doubled and drove in two runs.
Crestview will host Maplewood on Monday.

Beaver Local 12, East Liverpool 1
CALCUTTA — Ally Wright went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four runs and Ciara Call tossed a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts in Beaver Local’s, 12-1 win over East Liverpool in six innings Tuesday.
The Beavers have won eight straight to improve to 21-3 on the season. They will play at Minerva today.
Gianna Congrove and Addie Thurik each had two hits and two runs and Calleigh Eels had two hits and two RBIs. Thurik and Call hit doubles.
Tatum Fink took the loss, giving up four earned runs in 5 1/3 innings. She struck out six and walked three.
East Liverpool drops to 9-16 and will play at Toronto today.

Toronto 8, Lisbon 7
LISBON — Lisbon suffered its fourth one-run loss of the season in falling to Toronto, 8-7, Tuesday.
Toronto improves to 10-13, while Lisbon moves to 6-13.
JJ Rebich, Kaydence Bailey and Haley Bodnar each had three hits for the Red Knights. Jaylee Brown tripled and doubled.
Delaney Pickens topped the Blue Devils with a triple, a double and three runs scored. Kamryn Peruchetti and Sofia Brown each had two hits and Abby Ammon added a double.
Peruchetti took the loss, giving up five earned runs in going the distance. She struck out two and walked none.
Both teams are scheduled to play today with Lisbon at Leetonia and Toronto hosting East Liverpool.

Marlington 19, Salem 4
SALEM — Marlington showed why it is the Eastern Buckeye Conference champion.
Chelsea Miller drove in seven runs and scored five in leading the Dukes past Salem, 19-4, in five innings Tuesday.
Miller went 4-for-5 with two home runs and a triple. Aaliyah Williams tripled, singled and scored three runs, Justine Doringo tripled and doubled and Payton Peterson added four runs.
Doringo was the winning pitcher, giving two earned runs in five innings with nine strikeouts and three walks.
Marlington improves to 14-5 overall and 8-1 in the EBC. West Branch, Carrollton and Alliance each have four losses. The Dukes close out league play when they host Alliance on Thursday.
Aniya Jones, Emilee Lewis, Lacie Gainor and Olivia Lewis hit singles for the Quakers.
Salem, 5-11 and 3-6 in the EBC, will play at Howland today.

Morgantown 9, Oak Glen 0
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Madison Wisman held Oak Glen to three hits and helped her cause with a home run, a double and a single with four RBIs in Morgantown’s 9-0 win in six innings Tuesday.
Wisman also struck out 11 in the victory for the Mohicans, now 18-10.
Kayleigh White had two hits, including a double.
Mikalyn Balch doubled for the Golden Bears. Matti Carney took the loss, giving up eight earned runs in 5 2/3 innings with eight strikeouts and three walks.
Oak Glen 15-10 and is schedule to host Monroe Central on Saturday.
