Salem — Officers responded to the 200 block of Ohio Avenue at 11:55 p.m. Monday for a report of criminal damaging. The caller advised that while at work, a neighbor contacted him, who advised there was a loud disturbance inside his residence, and when he returned home from work, he found it had been ransacked. There was no forced entry, and the caller believed the only person with a key had entered and broken his property but declined to pursue the matter legally.
