-- A woman on Steubenville Pike Road, Wayne Township, reported at 7:41 p.m. Friday that the father of her children was supposed to drop the children off at 6 p.m. and he and the children never showed up.
-- Boardman Township police in Mahoning County called at 5:08 p.m. Friday to request a deputy go to a residence on Roller Coaster Road, Elkrun Township, to locate a missing juvenile from their jurisdiction. A deputy made contact with the juvenile, who was turned over to a family member who came to the residence.
-- Wellsville police at 3:08 p.m. Friday requested a deputy make contact with a person on McSwiggen Road, Franklin Township, to ask if the person knows the whereabouts of another person reported missing from Wellsville. There was no contact with anyone at the residence.
-- A deputy was dispatched at 5:27 p.m. Thursday to a residence on Hanna Drive, Hanover Township, for a sex offense report.
-- Angel M. Feliciano, 20, state Route 14, East Palestine, was taken to jail for an outstanding warrant out of Columbiana County Municipal Court for criminal mischief after deputies arrived at the state Route 14 residence on Aug. 7 to serve court papers out of Columbiana County Common Pleas Court. Feliciano is facing a pretrial Nov. 12 for the criminal mischief charge in county Municipal Court.
East Palestine
-- Officers responded to West Clark Street at 2:28 a.m. on Friday to a report of a suspicious subject.
-- A man called the station at 3:23 p.m. on Thursday regarding an issue obtaining property from his former residence. He was advised it was a civil matter.
-- A resident on West Martin Street called the station at 12:11 p.m. on Thursday asking for assistance removing a man from the residence. It was later determined the man also resided at the address and the caller was advised a legal eviction would be needed.
-- Officers received a call from a woman at 5:34 a.m. on Thursday who reported someone banging on her door on West Street.
-- Gregory Linder, no address or age provided, was arrested for OVI at 11:06 p.m. on Wednesday following a traffic stop on East Taggart Street. Lindner was also cited for lighted lights required.
-- Officers responded at 8:23 p.m. on Wednesday to West Martin Street for a reported assault. Officers spoke to all parties and determined no assault had taken place.
-- Officers responded at 5:52 p.m. to a report of persons on vacant property on East Clark Street. No one was found at the scene but officers observed a large amount of trash that was spilling into the backyard. The property owner was notified that the trash needed to be cleaned up immediately.
-- Officers took a report at 2:23 p.m. on Wednesday from an employee at the First Church of Christ on West Martin Street regarding juveniles being observed on security cameras entering the church the day before.
-- An employee at a downtown business on North Market Street reported at 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday that a customer was possibly drunk and asking for money at the business.
-- Officers responded at 8:46 p.m. to Wood Street on Tuesday to a report of incident involving two juveniles. The parents were notified and the juveniles left the area.
-- Officers received a report at 8:39 p.m. on Tuesday of criminal trespassing and criminal mischief by a juvenile that was recorded on video. The juvenile was identified and parents notified.
-- Officers spoke to a female on Washington Street at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday about how to file for a protection order. The officers gave the woman information.
Salem
-- Columbiana officers responded to the police department at 12:25 a.m. Monday for a breath test. Officers stood by while the test was conducted.
-- Officers responded with the fire department to the 400 block of Hickory Lane at 9:17 p.m. Sunday for a medical call. Officers assisted until no longer needed and the fire department transported a man to the Salem Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
-- Officers responded to the 1300 block of Ridgewood Drive at 7:56 p.m. Sunday for a reported dispute. The mother wanted to leave with the children while the father did not want that to happen. Both parties were advised they have equal rights to the children due to being married.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of East Third Street at 6:32 p.m. Sunday for a report of an abandoned bicycle. The caller advised that it had been left on the property for several days. The fire department responded and recovered the item.
-- Officers spoke with a woman at the police department at 6:22 p.m. Sunday for a reported hit and skip. The woman advised that between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. that day her vehicle had been struck in the parking lot at Walmart with damage to the front passenger side bumper area. Officers did observe the damage and took photos to document the damage. Officers will attempt to collect security video from Walmart and the caller was provided a report number and advised to contact her insurance company.
-- Officers on patrol in the 700 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 1:02 p.m. Sunday observed a person with what appeared to be an illegal fire in their backyard. Officers checked and found the fire to be illegal and notified the fire department who extinguished the fire and issued a warning for open burning.
-- Officers spoke to a man at the police department at 2:55 p.m. Sunday who advised that he had been struck by his brother over a football game. Officers responded to the residence and spoke with the brother and a witness, both of whom advised that they did get into a wrestling match over the game, but no strikes were thrown. The mother advised that she was in the house and did not see nor hear the incident but would take care of the issue.
-- Officers responded to the 700 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 1: 31 p.m. Sunday for a reported warrant check. Contact was made with the person in question, Phillip Kelley, 36, Salem, the warrant was confirmed, and Kelley was taken into custody.
-- Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 12:17 p.m. Sunday for a concerning possible interference with custody. After speaking with the caller, the information will be sent to the prosecutor's office for review of possible charges.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 9:09 a.m. Sunday for a reported animal complaint. The caller advised that while walking in the area he noticed a dog in a vehicle and was concerned. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle in question.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of Vine Avenue at 3:21 a.m. Sunday for a a reported fight. Officers were advised by a man who heard the confrontation that the male half had left. Contact was made with the female half who advised a verbal altercation had turned physical, and that her ex had come over and been confronted by another man, starting the conflict. It was found the second man had fled, and while officers were speaking with her the first one returned with a bloody face. Officers and EMT checked the man, who refused further medical treatment and declined future charges.
-- Officers responded to the 900 block of Newgarden Avenue at 12:12 a.m. Sunday for a reported juvenile problem. Officers spoke with the caller and their juvenile son who was intoxicated, and officers will be sending the information to the juvenile court. Officers checked another address where the juvenile supposedly got the alcohol, which had no alcohol in the residence and checked okay.
-- Officers responded to the area of Butcher Road and Jersey Ridge at 10:54 p.m. Saturday to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a single-vehicle rollover. Officers stood by while the troopers conducted the investigation.
-- Officers responded to the area of Jennings Avenue and West Ninth Street at 9:08 p.m. Saturday for a report of suspicious activity. Officers attempted to locate the person in question but were unable to do so.
-- Officers responded to the 1900 block of East State Street at 2:50 p.m. Saturday for a reported combative patient. Officers stood by until the issue was resolved.
