-- Officers responded to the 300 block of Rose Avenue at 3:25 a.m. Thursday for a reported domestic dispute. The caller advised that upon returning home from the hospital, her daughter began to yell at her and the man that brought her home. The caller went inside with her daughter who continued to yell and got in her face, and when the caller threatened to call police, the daughter took her phone and struck her right knee. The daughter left the area prior to officers' arrival and warrants will be issued for domestic violence and disrupting public service.
-- Officers responded to the area of Barclay Avenue at 1:06 a.m. Thursday for a barking dog complaint. Officers checked the area but did not locate the dog.
-- Officers assisted a Lisbon officer at the police department with an OVI suspect they arrested at 12:26 a.m. Thursday. Officers witnessed the Lisbon officer read the person in question the BMV2255 form prior to conducting a breath test on the man with a result of a .122%BAC
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Ellsworth Avenue at 11:32 p.m. Wednesday for a reported suspicious vehicle. When officers arrived the vehicle in question had already left.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of Continental Drive at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday for a reported juvenile issue. The son had not come home all day, but the mother was able contact them. The juvenile said they were on their way back to the residence while officers were present, and the mother did not want to file a runaway form but wanted the incident documented for his probation officer.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of South Ellsworth Avenue at 8:37 p.m. Wednesday for a reported burglary. The caller advised that she left her door unlocked and when she returned home, it was open. Officers checked the apartment and did not locate anyone inside. The woman advised that not items were missing.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of Robin Avenue at 8:27 p.m. Wednesday for a reported animal complaint. The caller was concerned by the behavior of a raccoon, but officers were unable to locate the animal.
-- Officers on patrol in the 100 block of Franklin Avenue at 7:03 p.m. Wednesday observed a silver Mitsubishi parked in the roadway and unattended. Dispatch contacted the jurisdiction where the owner resides but were unable to obtain public service information. Sinsley's Towing responded to remove the vehicle.
-- Officers responded to the area of Southeast Boulevard and Franklin Avenue at 6:51 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a juvenile running around near the street. Dispatch advised that the juvenile was back home when officers arrived, and officers spoke with the father who advised the juvenile in question was playing outside with another sibling, but the sibling went back inside.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of rose Avenue at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday for a reported dispute. The juvenile advised that she and her uncle were in a verbal altercation, and she felt threatened due to her uncle stating he would put hands on her. The juvenile was present with her mother and did not want to pursue charges, and the juvenile and her mother advised they were leaving for the evening.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of Franklin Street at 5:08 p.m. Wednesday to deliver a message. Officers delivered the message without incident.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday to assist the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. During the incident a man, Brian Digman, 38, Steubenville, was taken into custody charged with obstructing official business and drug paraphernalia. Digman also had an outstanding warrant out of Jefferson County. Officers also assisted the task force with two others and assisted until no longer needed.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of East School Street at 3 p.m. Wednesday for a speak with officer report. The caller advised that her juvenile daughter was having problems with another juvenile in the neighborhood. Officers spoke with the juvenile in question and their mother about the issue and advised them all to stay away from each other.
-- Officers responded to the 1000 block of East Ninth Street at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday for a medical call. When officers arrived the fire department advised nothing was needed.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 11:42 a.m. Wednesday to assist an agent from the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force with an arrest in the city. The man was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
-- Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 9:14 a.m. Wednesday regarding issues they were having in the city. After speaking with the caller officers called for first responders and an ambulance, and the woman was transported to the emergency room for evaluation.
