CCCTC automotive addition scheduled for completion Dec. 8

LISBON — The new automotive addition at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center is scheduled to be completed by Dec. 8. The CCCTC board of education was given an update on the project from the architect and contractor during the September meeting. The Stitle Construction Company was previously awarded the contract for the $6.5 million project and Strollo Architects is responsible for the design. LISBON — The Columbiana County Port Authority Board made several moves Monday related to the proposed 85-acre East Palestine industrial park off of state Route 14 and Howell Road in Unity Township, including actions needed to purchase the land. Wintersville woman killed in wrong-way crash on Route 22 in Pa.

A Wintersville woman died Sunday night in a wrong-way crash on U.S. Route 22 in Hanover Township. State police said Dawn R. D’Andrea was driving west in the eastbound lanes of the highway near the Burgettstown exit shortly after 10:30 p.m. when she crashed head-on into another car. D’Andrea, 53, of Wintersville was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene of the crash, according to the Washington County coroner’s office.
