United Local will have its winter homecoming game against Leetonia on Friday, Feb. 12. Highlights of the evening will include the announcement of United’s Homecoming Court and the crowning of the 2021 queen and king.

The court: Gracie Johnston, Stefani Thompson, Kendyl Daggy, Hannah Minor, Giulia Rojas Orso, Aubrey Benner, Elizabeth Kiko, Grant Greier, Michael Bardo, Nicholas Yoskey, Landon Rhodes, Keaton Baker, Ward Kiko and Luke Courtney.

Last year’s royalty, Emilee Graham and Bodey Kiko, will crown the queen and king. The announcement of the court and the crowning will take place between the reserve and varsity games. On Feb. 13, the junior will sponsor the winter homecoming drive-in Movie. The featured movie is “Spiderman: Homecoming” from 7-10 p.m. at the high school. Officers who planned the movie include: co-presidents Julianna Logan & Lincoln Urmson, vice-president Jade Watt, secretary Caleb Blake and treasurer Sydney Young. The junior class advisor is Betty Whiteleather.

Emilee Graham is the daughter of Nathaniel and Cassandra Graham. Bodey Kiko is the son of Richard and Nicole Kiko. Emilee Graham and Bodey Kiko will be crowning this year’s king and queen.

The following students are on the 2021 basketball homecoming court:

Our freshman attendant, Aubrey Benner and her escort is Luke Courtney.

Aubrey is the daughter of Nathan and Angela Benner. Her activities include American Sign Language Club, volleyball, cheerleading, and competition cheerleading. Luke is the son of Kevin and Nikki Courtney. His activities include basketball, golf, and football.

Sophomore attendant is Gracie Johnston and her escort, Grant Greier. Gracie is the daughter of John and Abby Johnston. Gracie’s activities include basketball and

4-H. Grant is the son of Robert Greier and April Lasky. His activities include football and lifting.

The junior attendant is Elizabeth Kiko and Ward Kiko.

Elizabeth and Ward are the daughter and son of Russell and Jodi Kiko. Elizabeth’s activities include showing dairy cattle and riding horses. Ward’s activities include basketball and football.

Our senior attendants:

First, we have Kendyl Daggy escorted by Michael Bardo.

Kendyl is the daughter of Jeff and Tammy Daggy. Her activities are soccer captain and American Sign Language Club, and track. Michael is the son of Kyle and Tami Bardo. His activities are 4-H, Future Farmers Association, golf and baseball.

The second senior attendant is Hannah Minor escorted by Landon Rhodes.

Hannah is the daughter of Jeremy Minor and Heather Smith. Her activities are National Honor Society president, class president, Spanish Club president, varsity track and soccer. Landon is the son of Jason and Denise Rhodes. Landon’s activities include football, baseball, National Honor Society, and Future Farmers of America.

The next senior attendant is Giulia Rojas Orso escorted by Keaton Baker.

Giulia is an exchange student from Mexico. Her host family is Ethan and Ashley Byrne. Her parents are Juan Carlos Rojas and Deborah Orso. Her activities are exchange student, Student Council, yearbook, and Key Club. Keaton is the son of Randy and Ruth Baker. His activities are football, basketball, baseball, and track.

The fourth and final senior attendant is Stefani Thompson escorted by Nicholas Yoskey. Stefani is the daughter of Robert Thompson and Megan Jacobs. Her activities are varsity volleyball, Ruriteens, varsity cheer, and Spanish Club. Nick is the son of Sheri Hull. His activities are varsity football, hunting, and cooking.
