Sebring Library summer hours

SEBRING – The Sebring Library will have shorter hours on Thursday this summer.

The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) announced adjusted hours of operation for Summer 2026, to begin on May 26 and continue until Sept. 7.

Hours on Thursdays will be changed to noon to 8 p.m. Hours will remain 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the other days of the week. The library will remain closed on Sundays.

According to Erin Phemester, PLYMC Chief Experience Officer, “During the summer months, the library will adjust its operating hours to better meet the needs of the community. While in-building hours are slightly reduced, this shift allows library staff greater flexibility to bring services beyond our walls–supporting community festivals, pop-up programs, reading initiatives, outreach to families and seniors, and other events happening all summer long. By reallocating staff time, we’re able to meet patrons where they are while continuing to provide high-quality library services in new and creative ways.”

Starting at $2.99/week.
