From Staff Reports HERMITAGE, Pa. — Heartland Christian senior Rebecca Geiss and sophomore Claire Liposky won events at the 26th annual City of Hermitage Invitational on Saturday. Geiss won the 1600-meter run in a personal-best time of 5:06.12 and was fourth in the 800 in 2:25.65. Liposky was first in the discus with a toss of 124-feet 2. Rhodes stars for North POWELL — Crestview senior Addison Rhodes was at the top of her game in the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association’s prestigious North-South All-Star Game on Friday night. Rhodes scored 22 points in 17 minutes with six rebounds and two assists in leading the North to a 98-73 victory at Olentangy Liberty High School. POLAND — The Salem girls scored 30 points in the two jumping events to leap over the competition at the 30th Poland Invitational on Saturday. CADIZ — It was a busy week for the Beaver Local Middle School boys track team. The Beavers won the Columbiana County Meet on Wednesday and just missed winning the Buckeye 8 Middle School Meet by 1 1/2 points on Thursday.
