AUSTINTOWN — Salem’s girls track team had a field day on Saturday at the 45th Optimist meet at Austintown Fitch Falcon Stadium. The Quakers won three of the four field events with Madolyn Gorby taking top honors in the high jump (5 feet 2 inches), Chaya Murray in the long jump (15-11) and Maddy Andres in the shot put (36-8 1/4). COLUMBIANA — As the Crestview Local Schools community turns the page into a new era, the Rebels are turning to an old friend to create some excitement in the boys basketball program. On Thursday, veteran coach Herman Miller, 59, was told he will once again lead the Rebels for the first time since 2017.
