COSHOCTON — East Liverpool senior Lani Rudibaugh is headed to the state bowling tournament. The Potter rolled a 491 series to place second at the Division II district meet Thursday at Legacy Lanes. The top two teams and top two individuals not on a qualifying team advanced to the Division II girls state bowling tournament set for Feb. 28 at H.P. Lanes in Columbus. EOAC wrestling tournament

COLUMBIANA — The Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference wrestling tournament will be held Saturday at Columbiana High School. Teams from host Columbiana, East Palestine, Southern Local and United will compete. Introductions will begin at 10 a.m., followed by dual matches at 10:15 a.m. with Columbiana vs. East Palestine and United vs. Southern. Round 2 will be held at 11:30 a.m. with Columbiana vs. Southern and United vs. East Palestine. Round three is set for 1:15 p.m. with Columbiana vs. United and Southern vs. East Palestine. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.

The Clippers scored the first 15 points to beat Southern Local, 81-51, and claim a share of its third straight Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference title.
