WEIRTON, W.Va. — Beaver Local split its varsity matches on Saturday against Weir High and Steubenville The Beaver Local varsity defeated Weirton 22-25, 25-10, 25-13. Lily Schrieber led the Beavers with 12 kills, two aces, four assists and eight digs. Olivia Opalenik had four kills and four blocks, while Leah Schrieber and Addie Thurik each had three kills. Geiss won her collegiate debut as the Palm Beach Atlantic freshman finished first in the Keyser Flagship Cross Country Invitational on Friday night.
