Rebels sweep Lions

CANFIELD — Crestview’s boys and girls bowling teams rolled past Heartland Christian on Thursday at Amron Lanes.

The Rebel boys were 1,971-1,656 winners. For Crestview, Dominic Finley had a 337 series, while Braden Devine added a 324 series. Peyton Mellott had a 193 high game.

For Heartland, Christian Hamilton had a 329 series. Trey Jones had a 184 high game.

Crestview’s girls team won 1,823-1,571. Abby Emch had a high game of 189 and a 348 series. Blasey Biser had a 169 high game.

For Heartland, Cana Holm had a 161 high game and a 294 series.

Southern rolls a split

BOARDMAN — Southern Local’s bowling teams split with Youngstown Chaney on Thursday at Boardman Lanes.

Southern’s girls won 1,492-1,295. Kennedy Lewis had a 153 high game and a 290 series. Hunter Dickson had a 161 high game and a 265 series. Rachel Lynch added a 124 high game and a 223 series.

Southern’s boys lost 1,911-1,763. Aiden Brothers had a 169 high game and a 310 series. Justus Black had a 182 high game and a 309 series.

Wellsville moves to 15-1

BOARDMAN — Wellsville’s bowling team defeated Youngstown East 1,806-1,308 on Thursday at Boardman Lanes.

For Wellsville, Tyler Landess had a 191 high game 346 series. Maddox Bosco added a 178 with a 347 series. Madelyn Landess had a 308 series and Makayla Landess added a 313 series.

Wellsville is 15-1 and is at the OVAC Class 1-3A tournament in St. Clairsville.

Potters take two from Brooke

EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool’s boys and girls bowling teams defeated Brooke on Thursday at Walnut Lanes.

The Potter boys won 2,348-2,052. Jayden McDole had a 224 high game and a 404 series for the Potters. Jordan Wolf had a 172 high game and a 355 series.

The Potter girls scored a 1,795-1,683 win. Paige Grimes had a 155 high game and a 304 series, while Addison Rudibaugh bowled a 240 game.

East Liverpool will play in the OVAC Class 4A/5A tournament on Saturday in Parkersburg, West Virginia, at Pike Street Lanes.
