Choose To Lose Group

Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church June 9 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding.

The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.

Pam Fouse gave the secretary’s report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasurer’s report. Both were approved as read.

Tassy Everett was the CTLG biggest loser. Fouse was the runner up. Dottie Seevers had three weeks weight loss slips.

Perorazio won the Food Journals, Dimes were held over, and JoAnn Beresford won the Share The Blessing.

The no no’s are pizza and white flour.

Winners of the No Fibbing Contest are Everett, Perorazio, Pat Heacock, and Fouse.

Perorazio brought in turtles for a new weight loss competition. Seevers, JoAnn Beresford, Everett, Perorazio, and Fouse got to Put A Turtle In The Tank.

Perorazio closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by the Lord’s prayer. New and former members are always welcome. For more information call 330-383-8217.

Banquet in Salem

The Dine in or Drive Thru Banquet in Salem will be served from 5 p.m. until the food is gone Monday at the Salem Memorial Building, sponsored by Ray and Patricia Wagner in honor of Carolyn and Ray Wagner. The menu will include meatloaf, augratin potatoes, green beans, applesauce, fresh vegetables and fruit, and cookies. Dine in will park in designated area behind the building and proceed to front door. Drive thru will line up in lot behind the building; one meal per individuals in the vehicle.
