It is time to reopen America

To the editor: The danger has passed, the curve has been flattened, peaked, plateaued and is on the decline. Given the dire forecast models that our leaders were faced with at first drastic measures were the correct course of action. Thanks to those measures the hospitals and medical system are not overwhelmed, extra hospitals built by the Army Corps of Engineers were under used or not used at all. Trump supporter: Keep your dreams strong

To the editor: Everyday this president is working to help the hospitals get their supplies. Just look what we need for New York, California and others. Why are we getting our supplies from China? Why can’t Americans make things here? All this is red tape that Obamacare put on the hospitals and nursing homes and their supplies and to force them to buy from China. Price on April 8 regarding columns by Jules Witcover, I could not agree more that every person is entitled to their own opinions and views. Teacher reflects on the importance of sports and sacrifices

o the editor: Sixty years ago this month, I began my life in organized sports as a member of Isaly’s Little League team in Leetonia. Since that time, I have played, coached, refereed, announced, watched, broadcast and cheered for our kids and grandkids. I love sports. They are a big part of my life.
