— Deputies and Lisbon police units responded at 4:11 p.m. Sunday to the Travelers Inn, state Route 45, Center Township for a domestic and learned en route that a person had an active warrant from Columbiana County. Upon arrival, the female victim said the suspect was still on the property. Deputies and Lisbon police officers started checking the property and apartments and found Kevin Neely, 44, state Route 45, Lisbon and apprehended him. He was placed into custody on the warrant and other charges and taken to jail. Charges against him in county Municipal Court include two counts of domestic violence and a count of having weapons while under disability.
— Deputies were dispatched at 10:31 a.m. Sunday to Salem Unity Road in Salem Township regarding a domestic incident. Contact was made with both parties, who denied any injury and did not want charges. A domestic refusal was signed.
— A lost property report was taken at 9:31 p.m. Saturday on Knox School Road, West Township.
— The Ohio State Highway Patrol at 4:57 p.m. Saturday requested a deputy assist in locating a white Honda vehicle driving at a very slow speed that just entered Columbiana County eastbound on state Route 172 in West Township. A deputy and trooper made contact with the vehicle on state Route 172 at state Route 9, Hanover Township. The driver said he has low air pressure in one of his tires and that was the reason for the slow speed.
— The manager of Arbaugh Mini Storage, U.S. Route 62, Knox Township, reported at 3:28 p.m. Saturday that a man on the property at a storage unit is not on the contract and needs to leave. A deputy spoke with the man, who’s from Medina, and advised him that Arbaugh Mini Storage wants him off of the property since he’s not on the contract. He said he’ll contact his mother about putting him on the contract and then left.
— A deputy responded at 5:22 p.m. Friday to Twin Oaks Mobile Home Park, state Route 45, Center Township regarding a medical call and was met by EMS on the scene. The man advised both EMS and the deputy that he was fine and did not want to go to the hospital. He was told to call back if other issues arose.
— A Butler Township trustee reported at 3:28 p.m. Friday receiving a call from a township resident about illegal dumping of brush in the 2300 block of Woodsdale Road and Coffee School Road between Woodsale and Depot Road, Butler Township.A license plate was provided of the vehicle involved in the alleged dumping. A deputy spoke with a man from West Eighth Street, Salem who said he was hauling brush on a trailer when the straps broke and he lost the loads in the road at both locations. He removed the brush to the side of the road and will be back with his company’s chipper.
— A man on Benton Road, Perry Township reported at 3:08 p.m. Friday that he owns property and a residence on Lisa Lane, Center Township and is in the process of evicting multiple people from inside the residence and on the property. He said the people are dumping trash on the property and cutting down the trees.
— Assistance was requested by the Ohio State Highway Patrol on a traffic stop on Depot Road and Woodsdale Road at 2:47 a.m. Friday, with a deputy assisting with the preliminary investigation. Once other troopers arrived, the deputy left.
— A deputy at 9:57 p.m. Thursday returned a call to a person on Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township regarding a juvenile. They were advised how to proceed. The call type was listed as a sex offense.
— A barking dog was reported at 8:24 p.m. Thursday on Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township, but a deputy checked the area and didn’t find anything.
— A deputy was dispatched at 6:49 p.m. Thursday to the 13000 block of old state Route 45, Madison Township for a woman climbing out of the ditch and a man driving a blue van yelling. The deputy checked the area but found nothing.
— Deputies were dispatched at 6:08 p.m. Thursday to Gamble Road, Center Township for a person who overdosed alongside the roadway. Winona EMS amd EMT EMS were on the scene. EMT EMS transported the person to Salem Regional Medical Center.
— Deputies were dispatched at 10:08 p.m. March 30 to Quaker Church Road, West Township, regarding an altercation that caused damage to a woman’s vehicle, with the victim reporting the alleged suspect, identified as Brooke Heath, struck her vehicle multiple times with her truck, causing damage to the passenger side. She was told to leave multiple times, refused and the altercation occurred. She left prior to deputies arriving. Heath, 30, Memorial Road N, Kensington, was charged with criminal damaging and appeared for arraignment in Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday.
