— Officers responded to the 100 block of Sherman Street 5:21 p.m. Feb. 9 for a reported domestic assault. Further investigation led to the arrest of Clara Richards, 25, Lisbon, for domestic violence.
Highway Patrol
— Kevin Clark, 58, East Palestine, was cited for reasonable control when the vehicle he was driving east on state Route 172 in Center Township drove off of the right side of the road, striking an embankment, guardrail and overturning at 4:48 p.m. Feb. 8.
Goshen
— Rosellen John, no age or address listed, was cited for speeding following a traffic stop on Green Beaver Road near South Range schools at 7:31 a.m. Feb. 7.
— Bianca Thomas, no age or address listed, was cited for no driver’s license following at traffic stop near Parks Garden Center on U.S. Route 62 at 3:35 p.m. Feb. 6.
— James Finch, no age listed, Beaver, Pa., was cited for speeding following a traffic stop on state Route 165 near Beaver Creek Road at 11:10 p.m. Feb. 3.
— Marvin Allan Wolfgang, 81, Salem was cited for assured clear distance ahead following a two-vehicle crash in the 9000 block of Salem Warren Road at 7:37 p.m. Feb. 3 in which he was southbound and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Spencer Dailey, 25, Alliance, causing disabling damage to both vehicles. Wolfgang and his passenger, Bonnie L. Wolfgang, 80, Salem, were treated on scene by Damascus first responders for possible minor injuries.
— An officer sitting stationary at Heritage Baptist Church on Salem Unity Road at 12:18 a.m. observed five to seven consecutive vehicles traveling east near Egypt Road and clocked four vehicles traveling over 70 mph in the 55 mph zone and was able to stop three of them. Karlie Jane Brenner, Austin James Ladd and Trenton Slate Childers, no age or address listed for any of them, were cited for speeding.
— Brandy Ponsaa, no age or address listed, was cited for fictitious plates and failing to move over for an emergency vehicle following a traffic stop on Alliance Salem Road near Smith Goshen Road at 10 p.m. Feb. 2 after she allegedly failed to move over for an officer conducting a traffic stop on another vehicle, nearly striking the officer.
— Scott Barrett, no age or address listed, was cited for speeding following a traffic stop on South Pricetown Road near the West Branch Early Learning Center at 8:18 a.m. Feb. 1.
— Aden Fennell, no age listed, Beloit, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on state Route 165 near state Route 45 for a loud exhaust at4:24 a.m. Jan. 31.
— Anthony M. Burch, no age listed, Youngstown, was cited for speeding and expired registration following a traffic stop on West Western Reserve Road near Covington Court at 2:20 a.m. Jan. 31.

— Alexus Pennington, no age or address listed, was cited for failing to obey a traffic control device following a traffic stop at state routes 165 and 45 at 12:13 p.m. Jan. 29 after she failed to stop at a stop sign.
— Kevin Barcher, no age or address listed, was arrested on an active warrant for fifth-degree felony possession of drugs out of Mahoning County following a traffic stop at Youngstown Salem and Lisbon roads at 4:15 p.m. Jan. 28.
Perry Township
— Officers responded to the area of North Ellsworth Avenue at 1:41 a.m. Sunday to assist Salem officers with a man with a firearm threatening to harm himself and others. Officers were able to locate the man and take him into custody without incident.
— Officers responded to the area of state Route 45 near Newgarden Road at 11:18 p.m. Saturday for a report of a reckless semi-driver going left of center. Officers located the vehicle, conducting a traffic stop finding no signs of intoxication.
— Officers responded to the 900 block of Georgetown Road at 12:40 p.m. Saturday for a report of a possibly deceased horse lying in a field. Officers observed the horse to be fine.
— Officers responded to the 900 block of Elberon Avenue at 10:45 a.m. Saturday for reports of harassment. The caller advised that he had gotten a few calls telling him to leave the area. Officers took the report and advised they would have an extra watch of the area.
— Officers responded to the 400 block of Franklin Avenue at 10:35 p.m. Friday to assist Salem officers with a domestic complaint. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
— Officers on patrol in the area of U.S. Route 62 and state Route 45 were flagged down by a parked vehicle at 6:09 p.m. Friday. The driver was lost and looking for directions to Damascus and officers gave them directions.
— Officers responded to the 1000 block of Georgetown Road at 5:14 a.m. Friday for a reported animal complaint. Officers found a dog roaming with no tags and the humane society was contacted.
— Officers responded to the 1100 block of Prospect Street at 9:41 p.m. Thursday for a reported domestic dispute. Officers spoke to all parties involved and discovered that the dispute was verbal in nature. Both parties agreed to remain separated for the night.
— Officers responded to the 400 block of Benton Road with detectives and the Salem Police Department at 4:18 p.m. Thursday to investigate reported child abuse allegations. Officers stood by as the detective conducted interviews with the parties involved. Officers made a report of notified CPS.
— Officers responded to the 1100 block of Prospect Street at 12:26 a.m. Thursday to assist Goshen Township officers with a person that allegedly fired a weapon from a vehicle in Beloit. Officers spoke with all parties finding they were not involved.
— Officers responded to the 1100 block of West Perry Street at 12:11 a.m. Tuesday for a reported neighbor complaint. The caller advised her downstairs neighbor, and several other people were knocking on her door and yelling from outside. Officers arrived but were unable to make contact with the group, and the caller advised they had left shortly before officers arrived.
— Officers responded to the 1800 block of Cliff Drive at 4:14 p.m. Feb. 4 for a medical call. Officers assisted other first responders until no longer needed.
— Officers responded to the 300 block of Plymouth Place at 7:28 p.m. Feb. 3 for a report of telecommunications harassment. The caller advised her ex-fiance has been calling and texting her non-stop for several days despite being told to stop. Officers gathered statements and other necessary evidence and will continue to investigate.
— Officers responded to the 400 block of Benton Road at 6:19 p.m. Feb. 3 for a reported noise complaint. Officers spoke with the caller who said her upstairs neighbors were screaming, yelling and stomping across the floor. Officers attempted to contact the neighbors, but nobody was answering the door. Officers advised the caller to contact them if the behavior continued.
— Officers responded to the 1700 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 11:32 a.m. Feb. 1 for a speak with officer report. The caller advised that they believe unknown people are still coming onto his property and taking items for scrap, and that he had found other items moved toward the roadway. The caller was unsure what was taken.
— Officers on patrol in the area of Pidgeon Road near state Route 45 observed the street sign was knocked down by a vehicle going off the roadway.
