Crestview school board hires new maintenance supervisor

COLUMBIANA — A new maintenance supervisor has been hired for the Crestview Local School District. The board of education approved giving Evan Schneider a two-year limited administrative contract and fringe benefit packages during the July regular meeting. Schneider was one of many who applied for the position that was vacated by Jay Radman upon his recent retirement. As part of his contract Schneider will make $73,343 a year as maintenance supervisor. LISBON — A new pretrial was set at 9:15 a.m. Oct. 13 for an East Palestine woman charged with four counts of prohibitions concerning companion animals for 21 animals seized earlier this year due to alleged unsanitary conditions. Man charged with abusing developmentally disabled adult

SMITH TWP. (WKBN) — A man is facing felony charges after police say he abused a person associated with a facility for developmentally disabled adults during a visit with family. Glenn Martin III, of Alliance, is facing charges of patient abuse, a third-degree felony, and caretaker assault on a functionally impaired person, a fourth-degree felony.
