New Waterford looking at single garbage hauler for residents

NEW WATERFORD — The village is taking bids to begin contracting with a single garbage hauler for residential service. Council this month passed a resolution to seek bids for the service and Village Mayor Shane Patrone said the idea is to alleviate wear and tear of local roads. “This was done to limit the truck sizes and the amount of trucks that use the village streets. Liverpool Township trustees issue reminder about moving vehicles from driveways in zoned areas

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — Trustee Dennis Giambroni Tuesday reminded residents who live in zoned areas have until Oct. 15 to move boats, trailers, campers and similar vehicles from their driveways to storage. Parking of these type of vehicles in residents’ driveways is only from April 15 through Oct. 15 in the zoned area of the township.
