Lisbon school board approves salary increases for classified staff

LISBON — Classified workers in the Lisbon school district recently received the same salary increases as the teachers, with a 3% wage increase starting July 1, 2026, a 2.5% wage increase the following year and then another 3% wage increase starting July 1, 2028. Classified personnel include the secretaries, bus drivers, custodians, aides and cooks. WELLSVILLE – The results for the Buckeye Water District (BWD) 2022-2023 audit were shared during Thursday’s trustees meeting. Tiffany Chetock, BWD fiscal officer, shared that following the exit conference with the Ohio State Auditor’s office on May 21, the audit results revealed no citations, no findings for recovery, no deficiencies in internal controls, no material weaknesses and no instances of noncompliance with laws, regulations, contracts and grant agreements.
