Water will be available to battle heat during Lisbon Fireworks celebration Thursday

LISBON — This year’s Lisbon Fireworks celebration on Thursday will mark the 250th birthday of the USA with music, games, food and fun — and lots and lots of water to keep attendees hydrated. “There’s not much we can do as far as shade,” Lisbon Fireworks Committee Chairperson Judy Noel said. Sheriff’s Office — A deputy at 3:41 p.m. Sunday spoke to a resident on state Route 164, Center Township regarding the neighbor’s dogs coming onto her property and chasing her animals, which she said was an ongoing issue.
