Vultures, turkey buzzards damaging Lisbon high school roof

LISBON — The vultures and turkey buzzards circling over Lisbon just cost the school district in excess of $6,000 for repairs to the roof over the high school elevator shaft. “They’re tearing it up quite a bit,” district maintenance supervisor Roger Tullis reported Thursday night at the Lisbon school board meeting. Ohio State Trappers Region B meeting set in Leetonia

LEETONIA — The Ohio State Trappers Association will hold its Region B Fall Meet on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Leetonia Sportsman Club, 311 E. Commissioners approve installation of suicide awareness signs in Lisbon

LISBON — Four signs advertising 988 as the national suicide and crisis lifeline number will be placed in the square in downtown Lisbon after Columbiana County commissioners granted permission for the placement.
