Steele

SALEM – The Label Team Inc. of Salem is announcing the promotion of Homeworth resident Jack Steele to director of Plant Operations.

The Label Team is a locally-owned custom manufacturer of pressure-sensitive labels, tags and other products produced using digital and flexographic print technologies. 2023 marked TLT’s 25th year in business since its founding in August 1998 by the owner, flexographic industry veteran Dean McDaniel. All production takes place locally in its facility in the Salem Industrial Park.

With an extensive background in the printing industry and an unrivaled work ethic, Steele first joined in March of 1999, beginning as a part-time, then full-time, press operator. From there he progressed through the positions of working foreman to production manager to plant manager, and now to director of Plant Operations.

Steele lives with his wife Julie and enjoys spending time with their new dog Tucker. He has two adult sons and is an avid hunting, fishing and golf enthusiast in his spare time.
