EAST LIVERPOOL — The Columbiana County Drug Task Force (DTF) executed a search warrant at 810 St. John St., East Liverpool, Thursday afternoon.

The residents were not present when the warrant was served; however, there was a juvenile male present.

During the search DTF agents found approximately 60 grams of suspected crack cocaine and a handgun.

DTF Director Jesse Smith said agents are investigating if the handgun is a stolen firearm. East Liverpool Police Chief John Lane noted that the serial number had been filed off the gun.

Charges are pending BCI lab results and the firearm investigation.
