New CAA Salem Health Center holds open house

SALEM – The new CAA Salem Health Center, 600 E. Second St., held an open house Tuesday.

Salem Chamber of Commerce representatives as well as Salem business people and residents were on hand to tour the new larger facility that houses a private waiting area, front desk reception area, a larger lab and separate behavioral health and medical areas for noise control and privacy.

CAA of Columbiana County CEO Tom Andrews spoke briefly about the new location, and several staff members were on hand to offer tours and light refreshments.

Dr. Kristi Johnson, OB-GYN and medical director, as well as Jennifer Truex, Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, will see patients at the new site. And Dr. Beth Stutzman, Psychologist, and Crysti Blower, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, also will see patients at the Salem site.

Duncan MacMillan, deputy regional director for Northeast Ohio, for U.S. Sen. Jon Husted, visited and brought a proclamation for the Community Action Agency of Columbiana County.
