Court News LISBON – A Lisbon man sentenced to at least nine years in prison for threatening to kill a woman while choking her and punching her last fall has appealed his sentence. Frederick E. Krueger, 35, Shelby Road, is appealing his punishment after Columbiana County Common Pleas Court Judge Scott Washam found him guilty during a trial to the court in August. Washam sentenced him to six years for felonious assault, a second-degree felony, plus an additional three years for strangulation, a third-degree felony, bringing the minimum total to nine years. Robert Zewe Jr., 51, Erie, Pa., pleaded guilty to attempted compelling prostitution, a fourth-degree felony, amended from third-degree compelling, as well as possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony, and misdemeanor engaging in prostitution. Municipal Court LISBON — A New York man was fined in Columbiana County Municipal Court Monday after attempting to help a federal prisoner escape incarceration with a drone. Nathan Lund, 34, Beach Avenue, Port Jefferson, New York, was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served and fined $150 for criminal trespass for entering the property of the FCI Elkton Prison without permission on June 18, 2026.
