LISBON -- A Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty to an amended charge in a sex-for-hire case.

Robert Zewe Jr., 51, Erie, Pa., pleaded guilty to attempted compelling prostitution, a fourth-degree felony, amended from third-degree compelling, as well as possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony, and misdemeanor engaging in prostitution.

Zewe Jr. was been accused of attempting to pay who he believed to be a 16-year-old for sexual activity and arriving for the meeting Oct. 10, 2025.

Sentencing was set Oct. 29.

Also in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court:

-- Donald N. Blevins, 46, Warren, pleaded guilty to importuning, a fifth-degree felony, amended from third-degree compelling, as well as possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony. He was been accused of attempting to pay who he believed to be a 16- of 17-year-old for sexual activity and arriving for the meeting Jan. 10. Sentencing was set Nov. 6.

-- Nicholas Ohanlon, 28, Crestview Drive, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing the drug Jan. 9 and April 2. He also pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing the drug Nov. 11, 2025. Sentencing was set Oct. 29.

LISBON -- A Leetonia man is facing potential felony charges for allegedly throwing cookware at a woman.

A preliminary hearing was set Sept. 9 for Wayne Ayers Jr., 59, Main Street, Leetonia, charged with third-degree felony domestic violence for allegedly pushing and throwing a pan at a woman in Leetonia on Tuesday.

A preliminary hearing was set Sept. 28 for Kevin Short, 53, Desellem Road, Lisbon, charged with felony OVI, a third-degree felony.

Luccas McKenzie, 23, Broadway Avenue, Wellsville, was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 29 days suspended and credit for one day served and fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from menacing for making multiple social media posts soliciting someone to remove the tires from a Wellsville woman's vehicle during the night and including the woman's address in one of the posts on Dec. 22, 2025.

Asia Williams, 28, Bank Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 85 days suspended and credit for two days served and three days in a driver intervention program and fined $865 for disorderly conduct amended from escape, OVI and improper backing for pulling free from handcuffs multiple times and attempting to walk out of the police department after being arrested in East Liverpool on June 28. A second count of OVI was dismissed.

Lonnie Cunningham, 33, Riverview Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and fined $500 for obstructing official business and criminal trespass for entering a vacant property and fleeing from officers on foot in East Liverpool on June 21.

Gregory Morelli, 49, Mock Road, Berlin Center, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 days suspended and credit for one day served and fined $750 for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for arranging to meet with an undercover agent of the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force in East Palestine for sexual activity in exchange for $140 on Jan 23 and possessing the currency and cellular device used to arrange the criminal act at that time.

Manuel Movio, 45, Concord Street, Nashua, New Hampshire, was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and fined $950 for disorderly conduct amended from engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for arranging to meet with an undercover agent of the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force in East Palestine for sexual activity in exchange for currency to be paid through a digital app on Jan 23 and possessing the cellular device used to arrange the criminal act at that time.

Nicholas Degenova, 48, High Street, New Waterford, was fined $250 for criminal trespass amended from theft for entering the property of a New Waterford business and taking aluminum scrap on April 9, 11, 19, 28.

Raquel Lester, 42, Parkman Road, Warren, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 85 days suspended and credit for two days served and three days in a driver intervention program and fined $500 for physical control. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.

William Hopkins, 60, West Garfield Street, Salem, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 85 days suspended and credit for two days served and three days in a driver intervention program and fined $565 for OVI. Charges of physical control and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed.

A pretrial was set Oct. 28 for William Conrad, 19, Main Street, East Palestine, charged with OVI, underage OVI, and speeding.

A pretrial was set Nov. 2 for Marcus Moxley Jr., 30, Commerce Street, Wellsville, charged with OVI second offense and OVI refusal with prior within 20 years.
