LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Richard Vecchio, 61, state Route 164, Lisbon, were bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony assault and misdemeanors of criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, domestic violence and resisting arrest. On Jan. 2 in Lisbon, Vecchio allegedly pushed a woman into the kitchen counter of a residence and resisted arrest and earlier at Circle K, he allegedly was intoxicated and made multiple threats and obscene gestures to an employee. He also remained at the store despite being told to leave after being trespassed, then left and came back several moments later. He had previously been told to stay away from Circle K. While he was being escorted to a patrol car to be taken to the county jail after the domestic violence incident, Vecchio allegedly actively resisted and pushed a deputy onto the ground by using his body weight, then fell on top of her, causing injury.

Cases against Jimenez Jose Efrain Garcia, 24, address unknown, were bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony pandering obscenity involving a minor and fifth-degree felony illegal-minor in nudity oriented material/perform and misdemeanors of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $100, then arriving in East Palestine on Dec. 31 for the meeting. Garcia allegedly told police he was undocumented and gave a different name than what was on his phone, which he had allegedly used to make the arrangements. According to an affidavit, the phone contained images of female juveniles well under the age of 18 engaged in sexual conduct and in a state of nudity.

A case against Dustin Scott Andric, 40, St. Jacob Logtown Road, Lisbon, was bound over to the county grand jury for third-degree felony failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and misdemeanors of driving under suspension, use of unauthorized plate and speeding for allegedly failing to stop for a trooper attempting a traffic stop on Dec. 30 on Depot Road, Salem Township, driving through a field, coming back onto the road and crashing his vehicle, then fleeing on foot.

Cases against Tyler Michael Quimby, 26, Empire, were bound over to the county grand jury for second-degree felony strangulation, fourth-degree felony domestic violence and misdemeanors of criminal endangerment and violation of a protection order for allegedly choking a woman twice during a domestic on Jan. 1 in East Liverpool in front of four children. He was ordered to have no contact by any means with the victim and the four children. The victim had a protection order against him at the time and when police arrived he wouldn’t answer the door, with police making entry.

A pretrial was set March 18 for Zackary Allen Goncz, 36, New York, N.Y., charged with possessing criminal tools and engaging in prostitution for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $120, arriving in East Palestine on Dec. 23 for the meeting, with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.

A pretrial was set Jan. 18 for Shane Williamson, 46, Woodbine Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with violation of a temporary protection order, two counts of theft and two counts driving under suspension. On Oct. 30, he allegedly left Dollar General outside Washingtonville without paying for two carpets, a trash can, toilet paper and a mop. On Aug. 15, he allegedly stole $358 worth of items from the Giant Eagle on Bradshaw Street, East Liverpool. In April 2022, Williamson allegedly sent text messages and photographs to a woman who had a protection order against him.

Tammy Ingledue, 60, Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $100 and sentenced to 17 days in jail, with credit for 17 days served, for criminal trespass for being at the Wind Rose apartment complex in Columbiana on Dec. 24 after being trespassed from the property previously.

A pretrial was set Feb. 20 for Nicholas Weiler, 27, Cuyahoga Falls, charged with theft for allegedly stealing another man’s cell phone on April 6 in Lisbon.

Sentencing was set Jan. 18 for Matthew McBride, 42, Peace Valley Road, New Waterford, who pleaded no contest and was found guilty of assault for punching another man at the gas pumps at JDE Food and Fuel on state Route 46, New Waterford, on Jan. 11.

Sentencing was set Jan. 30 for Joseph Yager, 71, West Church Lane, East Liverpool, after being found guilty of assault for pushing a juvenile to the ground and telling him to clean up the rocks he had skipped in puddles on West Fourth Street, East Liverpool on Jan. 9.

Keith Whorley, 26, Painter Road, Salem, was fined $605 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 150 days suspended and credit for 10 days served, leaving 20 days still to serve in jail, for failure to comply (fleeing/eluding), obstructing official business, use of unauthorized plate and following too closely for grabbing his license back before an officer could look at it during a traffic stop on Jan. 1 in Columbiana, and then fleeing from police. His driver’s license was suspended for one year and he was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.

A pretrial was set April 11 for Brady Scott Duffy, 23, Midland, Pa., charged with disorderly conduct-intoxication for allegedly walking in the middle of Calcutta Smith Ferry Road, St. Clair Township, swaying back and forth and screaming at officers. After being taken into custody, he allegedly admitted to drinking alcohol.

A pretrial was set Jan. 30 for Mary Judy, 54, Blakely Street, East Liverpool, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs second offense and no valid license.

Miles Ketchum, 36, Steubenville Pike Road, Lisbon, was fined $100 for driving under suspension and lights required.

A pretrial was set April 2 for Kaleb Brown, 23, Columbia Street, Leetonia, charged with driving under suspension.

A pretrial was set April 11 for Alexander Dickey, 30, North Lima, charged with traffic control devices.

Daniel Shafer, 45, Walnut Street, Leetonia, was fined $150 for driving under suspension and unauthorized plate.

Ryan Romigh, 29, Tower Road, Salem, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and speeding.

Joyce Patrone, 65, Windrose Court, Columbiana, was fined $50 for unauthorized plate.

Francisco Ricardo, 27, East Third Street, Columbiana, was fined $75 for no driver’s license.
