Calhoun on his way to Cincinnati

From Staff Reports Former Youngstown State basketball coach and East Liverpool native Jerrod Calhoun is on his way to the University of Cincinnati. Calhoun, 44, reportedly will leave Utah State for a job with his college alma mater. A report by CBS Sports said Cincinnati and Calhoun have agreed to a six-year deal that will be officially announced later this week. BELOIT — West Branch freshman Madi Hoopes received a scholarship offer from Youngstown State University before the basketball season began. More are expected after what she did in her first high school season.
