Top-seeded Crestview scored 28 points in the first quarter and that was all the Rebels needed in a 69-15 win over 30th-seeded West Salem Northwestern in a Division V sectional final Saturday. West Branch 43, South Range 39 GREENFORD — West Branch held South Range to five points in the fourth quarter and rallied for a 43-39 victory Saturday. The Warriors trailed 34-31 after three quarters. West Branch finished the regular season at 14-8 after a 2-5 start. The Warriors were 5-3 in games decided by five points or less. Wellsville, Crestview shy of state LORAIN — Wellsville junior twins Madelyn and Makayla Landess came up just short of Division II state tournament berths at the district bowling tournament Saturday at Rebman Recreation.
