Rebels add a game

COLUMBIANA — The Crestview girls basketball team will not play Monday because Lakeview already scheduled a game against McDonald.

The Rebels have added a home game against Grand Valley on Feb. 12 to end the regular season. It will be a varsity-only contest beginning at 6 p.m.

Tigers on a roll

EAST LIVERPOOL — Wellsville had its strongest first game of the season which led to a 2,208-1,417 win over Youngstown Urban Scholars on Thursday at Walnut Lanes.

The Tigers (13-1) had a season-best 952 in the first game.

Madelyn Landess led the Tigers with a 265 high game and a 478 series which was 12 pins off her season best.

Makayla Landess had a high game of 229 and a 439 series. Cameron Taylor had a 201 high game and a 400 series.

Wellsville will play Cardinal Mooney on Tuesday at Amron Lanes in Canfield.
