Beaver Local 4, Union Local 0
BELMONT — The Beaver Local boys soccer team handed Union Local its first loss of the season, 4-0, Saturday.
Brayden Price scored two goals for the Beavers. Kaden Mays and Austin Holmes each had one goal and one assist.
Logan Roberts and Chris Warrick also had assists. Cole Long had five saves in goal.
The Beavers improve to 4-2 and will play at East Liverpool on Tuesday.
The Jets drop to 6-1-1.
Columbiana 5, Brookfield 0
COLUMBIANA — Columbiana registered its first shutout of the season by downing Brookfield, 5-0, in boys soccer action Saturday.
The Clippers are 3-3 and are scheduled to play at Steubenville Central on Sept. 15. Brookfield drops to 1-5.
Salem 3, South Range 0
SALEM — The Salem boys soccer team remained unbeaten by downing South Range, 3-0, Saturday.
The Quakers improve to 5-0-2 and have given up nine goals this season. They will play at Minerva on Tuesday. South Range is 3-4.
Crestview 5, Warren JFK 1
COLUMBIANA — The Crestview boys soccer team knocked off Warren JFK, 5-1, Saturday.
The Rebels won their fourth straight to improve to 4-2 heading into today’s game at Garrettsville Garfield.
Warren JFK drops to 0-5-1.
Weir 3, Oak Glen 0
NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. — Weir blanked Oak Glen, 3-0, in boys soccer action Saturday.
Weir improves to 3-4, while Oak Glen drops to 1-4-1. Oak Glen will play at Steubenville on Tuesday.

Columbiana 11, South Range 0
COLUMBIANA — Columbiana rolled over South Range, 11-0, in girls soccer action Saturday.
Columbiana improves to 3-3 heading into today’s match at Wheeling Central today. South Range has been outscored 23-0 the last four matches and drops to 2-5-1.
United 2, Steubenville Central 2
STEUBENVILLE — Steubenville Central scored the lone goal of the second half to tie United, 2-2, in girls soccer action Saturday.
United is 4-3-2 and will host Beaver Local on Wednesday.
The Crusaders are 4-1-2.
Niles 6, Salem 0
NILES — Niles scored three goals in each half to top Salem, 6-0, in girls soccer action Saturday.
The Red Dragons improve to 6-0, while the Quakers drop to 5-2-1.
Niles is scheduled to play at South Range today. Salem will host Minerva at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Warren JFK 9, Crestview 0
COLUMBIANA — The Warren JFK girls soccer team improved to 5-2 by blanking Crestview, 9-0, Saturday.
Crestview is 1-3-1 and will play at Pymatuning Valley today.
