Mayor Berlin supports passage of County Parks levy

To the editor: I would like to express my support for the levy that the Columbiana County Park District has on the ballot on Nov. 3. The voters of Salem have long shown their support for city parks levies because, I believe, they enjoy a well-maintained parks system that provides much needed recreation close to home and they understand how those parks can be an economic development driver.  Many residents of Salem use and enjoy the Greenway Trail for walking and biking. To the editor: Since transparency is such a huge issue with people, I’ll state up front that my wife and I have no previous acquaintances with Vito Abruzzino (VA), and that both of us have been friends with Shelley Bergman and her late husband Kim since all of us attended school at United. To the editor: I dare union members from every union and all employees receiving health insurance from employers to vote for Biden-Harris. Remember when Biden-Harris raised their hands for Medicare for All? Medicare is 80/20. Additional health benefits cost those on Medicare additional money. To the editor: This letter is in support of Vito Abruzzino for county prosecutor. Vito has been a successful federal prosecutor with international prosecutorial experience. He has been a United States Justice Department prosecutor, a civil litigator, as well as an assistant law director. He has prosecuted every type of case that a county prosecutor would prosecute. ‘Impressed with ‘by-the-book judge’

To the editor: I have been practicing law in the Mahoning County Court No. 3 in Sebring, Ohio for nearly 40 years. Three judges of that court have been removed from office for criminal activity and another due to his bailiff’s criminal conduct. All were appointed by the ruling Democratic party bosses in Youngstown. Two are still in prison. Sebring’s new judge, JP Morgan, impresses me as a by-the-book judge.
