It was a crazy year of learning and growing for myself and the Humane Society as a whole. We can’t continue being a bandage society

To the editor: We live in a bandage society. What I mean by that is we throw a bandage on our issues or problems for a temporary fix with no real solutions for the issue or problem. Hoping that the issue or problem will just fade away. Are you tired of the bandage government? They put a bandage on it and hoping that will fix the issue or situation. Sure we can arm our educators in the school, What’s next? How about if we issue tactical gear to the teachers? Maybe that’ll help. To the editor: Again today, Tuesday, May 24, 2022, we are facing another tragedy. Nineteen children and two adults shot to death. Why? An adult conversation about these continuing tragedies is way overdue! When a tragedy occurs, what does a civilized nation do? Using the well-known and always proven proven appropriate “scientific method” of examination, the experts look into the history of the event to try and determine the cause.
