Concerned about the healthcare cuts

To the editor: As the former Mayor of Columbiana, and Current County Treasurer, I know that access to affordable, high-quality healthcare is essential for the well-being of our residents. However, I am concerned that recent legislation brought up in Congress threatens healthcare in rural and underserved communities. This special election will determine whether the Ohio Constitution will be a contract between the citizens and the government, or if amendments to the Ohio constitution will continue to be a way to bypass the legislature. Opposition to annexation and urging community action

To the editor: I am writing to voice my strong opposition to the proposed annexation of our neighborhood from Perry Township into the city of Salem. It has come to my attention that the city is claiming the right to annex our properties based on a supposed deed restriction. However, upon reviewing my own deed, I have found no such restriction, nor do I recall being informed about this possibility during the property closing process.
