To the editor: Froma Harrop’s editorial in today’s (10-13-2023) Morning Journal was absolutely ludicrous. Why any newspapers would publish her is a deep mystery to me. Her headline was, “We need two parties to fix the border. We now have only one.” Let’s se, our country has had at least two parties since I was knickers. We haven’t fixed the border with two and I’ll guarantee you we won’t in the near future. Why? Upset with cemetery policy

To the editor: Hello, my name is James J. Taylor, a former resident of Wellsville whose parents, grandparents and other relatives are buried at Spring Hill Cemetery. Recently, I have learned that the cemetery has removed all previous grave decorations from each grave, and are now limiting grave decorations to just seven days before and after a holiday. For several reasons, I am deeply concerned with these latest actions and hope that the Village of Wellsville will consider returning to the previous cemetery rules.
