To the editor:
Froma Harrop's editorial in today's (10-13-2023) Morning Journal was absolutely ludicrous. Why any newspapers would publish her is a deep mystery to me. Her headline was, "We need two parties to fix the border. We now have only one." Let's se, our country has had at least two parties since I was knickers. We haven't fixed the border with two and I'll guarantee you we won't in the near future. Why? Because the liberal-leaning media, the left-wing socialist Democrat Party and our legislators don't wish to fix the border.
At a recent meeting I happened to attend, the subject of illegal border crossings came up. Primarily due to fentanyl crisis we are now facing. In a matter of less than 10 minutes we identified how easily this massive problem could be solved. And, my bet is, anyone reading this could do the same.
If we as a country wished to end illegal border crossings, we could do it in a New York minute. That's up to the administration and legislature to do. My guess for their inaction is that they simply don't want to. Why? That's a good answer to ask your representatives in Congress. If you get an answer, which is doubtful, it will be a spin job taken directly from a Froma Harrop think tank.
By the way, who do you think those illegals will vote for? Biden has a pretty good idea! In fact, I don't believe our leaders know the good guys from the bad guys. Sad!
As General McArthur stated when asked what causes military blunders, his answer was two words, Too Late!" The same could be applied to our current civilian blunders. "Too Late."
