Gordon Henry Zeh
April 23, 1927 – January 21, 2022
Gordon Henry Zeh, 94, went to his Heavenly home on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022. Gordon was born on April 23, 1927 in Enon Valley, Pa. to the late Henry Zeh and Sylvia Shaffer Zeh.
Gordon served in the United States Navy in 1945-46 on Midway Island, Honolulu, Hawaii and continued to serve in the Naval Reserve. He worked as a furniture inspector for Ethan Allen for 40 years. Gordon enjoyed doing yard work and gardening, hunting, playing cards, and watching Pittsburgh Steeler Football. He was known by all who loved him as the “King of Chocolate.” Gordon lived most of his adult life in East Palestine, Ohio and Leesburg, Fla.
Gordon was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Jordan Zeh, and sister, Irene Steele Hill. He is survived by his son Mitchell Zeh (Karen Shea) of Winter Garden, Fla., and daughter Janeen Zeh Anderson (Brian Anderson) of Denver, N.C. He has grandchildren Dylan Zeh, Marley Zeh, Brooke Anderson, Blake Anderson, Amelia Shea, Abi Shea, and also his brother-in-law William Jordan and sister-in-law Carolyn Hecking, as well as nieces and nephews.
A graveside burial at Bushnell National Veterans Cemetery will be held at a later date in Bushnell, Fla.
