Perry Township —Officers responded to the 1300 block of Pembrooke Drive at 1:22 a.m. Sunday for a report of a person who had been trespassed attempting to break into the residence. Officers found that Jeffrey Steffel, 43, Salem, had broken through the back door and was holding it shut refusing orders. Officers were able to enter the residence where Steffel continued to refuse orders to exit and had to be escorted out of the evidence while continuing to resist and pull away from officers.
