A Nov. 4 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set in county Municipal Court for Grady Hall Jr., 42, state Route 14, Columbiana, charged with improper transportation of a weapon for allegedly having a loaded firearm, a 9-millimeter Ruger handgun, in his vehicle while intoxicated on Sunday. Additionally, he was cited with OVI second offense.

A Sept. 9 preliminary hearing was set for Travis J. Beiling, 35, Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, charged with domestic violence for allegedly harming Meghan Jaeger on Monday by choking her until she blacked out.

Brett T. Lahue, 47, Monaca, Pa., was fined $1,005, had his license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 50 hours community service for OVI first offense, left of center and no seat belt.

A Sept. 9 pretrial was set for Tristan M. Tabor, 34, Brookdale Avenue, East Palestine, cited with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of drug abuse instrument and drug paraphernalia. On Sunday Tabor allegedly was driving a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am without permission of the owner and had a cloth pouch containing syringes and a glass crack pipe partially under the passenger seat.

Brandon James Burry, 22, Colliers, W.Va., was fined $180 for leaving the scene and failure to control after an accident on Front Street in Middleton Township on Aug. 25.

A Sept. 9 pretrial was set for William D. Barrett, 59, Lang Street, East Liverpool, charged with criminal damaging for allegedly using wet toilet paper to cover the camera in his cell at the county jail on Saturday.

John T. Susan, 61, Beechwood Drive, Columbiana, was credited with two days served in jail, sentenced to 10 additional days in jail, fined $100 and ordered to pay $250 in restitution to Gennaro Moscato for criminal damaging for shooting rocks with a slingshot at a house trailer on June 8.

A Sept. 9 pretrial was set for Joshua P. Robb, 30, Seigler Road, Lisbon, charged with driving under suspension, domestic violence, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and theft for allegedly intimidating his girlfriend into letting him take her vehicle on Sept. 2, then using it to take four tires from Jim’s Tire Shop, state Route 39, Wellsville, and selling them to someone in Wellsville.

An Oct. 21 pretrial was set for Sherry Stahl, 56, Park Avenue, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.

A Sept. 9 pretrial was set for Michael A. Wilson, 48, Rochester Road, Kensington, charged with criminal damaging and two counts of aggravated menacing. Wilson allegedly threatened to kill Randall Wutrick and his daughter, Sarah Wutrick, and then damaged Randall Wutrick’s tablet by throwing it to the ground on Saturday.

An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for Clark J. Best, 24, Jefferson Street, Salineville, charged with criminal trespass for allegedly stealing sheet metal and other metal items from an open garage in the area of East Main and Commerce Streets in Salineville.

Logan P. Stewart, 24, Continental Drive, Salem, was fined $550, had his license suspended for 180 days, credited with two days in jail, sentenced to an additional 15 days in jail and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension, falsification and failing to stop after an accident. Stewart ran away after his vehicle crashed into two parked vehicles on Dec. 13 and reported his vehicle as stolen on Dec. 14.

Craig A. Wischerman, 45, East North Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $400, credited with two days in jail and required 30 hours community service for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Wischerman was passed out with his legs in the roadway, then threatened police, firefighters and EMTs who came to the scene on July 20.

Daniel Ray Mathes, 27, Main Street, Washingtonville, was fined $100 and sentenced to five days in jail for disorderly conduct for refusing to go back into the jail to be locked down, banging his head off the wall or to change into a suit at the orders of deputies on Sunday.

Seth D. Guy, 27, Sebring, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for running at Kaylee Arkwright in Waterworth Memorial Park in Salem on May 12 and pushing her to the ground. Guy had his probation from a previous traffic-related case extended until Dec. 31.

A Sept. 24 pretrial was set for Chase W. Perkins, 21, Roosevelt Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing Faith Plummer, his girlfriend, by the neck multiple times on Saturday.

A Sept. 5 pretrial was set for Chad A. Hiles, 33, West Clark Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly dragging his girlfriend, Sally O’Hara, out of the house, causing her to lose her shirt and bra, which were found near the front door of the home. Additionally, the bedroom door was found kicked in.

A Sept. 5 pretrial was set for Jeremy D. Morgan, 43, West Main Street, Salineville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly threatening to harm his ex-spouse, Melinda Starkey, on Saturday.

An Oct. 21 pretrial was set for Dwaine E. Steed, 46, First Street, Hanoverton, charged with inducing panic for allegedly cutting his wrists and running into the woods, causing authorities to search for him for two days before finding him lying in a field in critical condition on Aug. 4.

An Oct. 22 pretrial was set for Daniel L. Santangelo, 38, Niles, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly giving police a false identity and Social Security number on Sunday.

An Oct. 21 pretrial was set for Patricia L. Dunbar, 21, North Jackson, charged with theft for allegedly shoplifting $212 in items from the Salem Walmart on Friday.

Robert T. Urgitus, 57, Vine Street, East Palestine, was credited with a day in jail, sentenced to four additional days and fined $250 for permitting underage consumption.

Patrick S. Murphy, 34, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $200 and credited with 13 days served in jail for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct for appearing at Wellsville Village Hall highly intoxicated and lunging at Patrolmen John Shaughnessy when taken into custody on Aug. 8.

Angelina Pesa, 22, Struthers, was fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension, a booster seat violation and marked lanes.

Dakota D. Barber, 22, Burtview Place, Salem, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension.

An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for Danielle N. Stanley, 30, East Sixth Street, Salem, cited with driving under suspension.

Derrick D. Stewart, 32, Youngstown, was fined $150 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

A Nov. 4 pretrial was set for Kaitlyn E. Callehan, 18, Etruria Street, East Liverpool, cited with possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

An Oct. 29 pretrial was set for William M. Alesi III, 35, Vine Street, Salem, cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly being highly intoxicated on Sunday.

Jeffrey R. Laroche, 50, Dublin, Ohio, was fined $150 and required 40 hours community service for obstructing official business for allegedly throwing a suspected marijuana pipe out of the window while he was a passenger of a vehicle on July 12.

Donald Franklin II, 47, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $50 and credited with a day in jail for persistent disorderly conduct amended from violating a temporary protection order. He was also ordered to have no further contact with Jessica Franklin.

Brian Scott Sutton, 38, Sherman Street, Lisbon, was fined $50 for uncut weeds and failure to remove junk vehicles.

An assault charge against Sara J. Eason, 26, Grant Street, Lisbon, was dismissed. Eason had been accused of punching Brooke Pratt on May 30.

A Sept. 10 court trial was set for Clint Ross Reynolds Jr., 21, South Lincoln Avenue, Lisbon, cited with driving under suspension.

An Oct. 7 pretrial was set for Brad M. Self, 44, West State Street, Salem, cited with unsafe vehicle.

Amy L. Phillips, 45, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $50 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension.

An Oct. 15 pretrial was set for Rory Altenburg, 46, Youngstown, cited with failure to reinstate a license.

LISBON — Timothy R. McCourt, 36, Empire, appeared in Common Pleas Court Friday for a probation violation hearing. McCourt had his probation dishonorably terminated and was sentenced to eight months in prison, but credited with 78 days already served. McCourt had been on probation after pleading guilty to misuse of a credit card after he had withdrawn $15,176 from the account of the Girls Scouts of Northeast Ohio, Salineville Troop, at various ATM machines starting in March 2014 through Aug. 8, 2014.

Chad A. Smith, 28, Spillway Road, Lisbon, stipulated to violating the terms of his intervention plan he had been placed on after pleading guilty to two counts of possession of drugs for having heroin and oxycodone on Aug. 5, 2016. His intervention plan will now continue.

Dakota L. Powell, 24, Boyce Avenue, Wellsville, was credited with 119 days served in jail for violating his community control from an unlawful sexual conduct with a minor charge he had pleaded guilty to in 2018. That charge was for having sex with a 15-year-old girl in Wellsville in June 2015. He was ordered to now remain on community control until June 2023.

EAST LIVERPOOL — In East Liverpool Municipal Court, Michael Beaver, Wooster Street, was fined $250 and given seven days in jail for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Jeffrey Canoe, Foulks Drive, was fined $675 and given 180 days in jail, (three imposed and three years probation for physical control of a vehicle and no license.

Walter Short, Wells Hollow Road in Wellsville, was fined $955 and given 30 days in jail for OVI, no license and left of center.

Dana McGilvary, West Fifth Street, was fined $150 for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jonathan Easterday, East Ninth Street, was fined $150 for no license.

Steven Elliott, Cadmus Street, was fined $250 for no license and expired plates.

Traci Dorsey, Sixth Street, Wellsville, was fined $250 for driving under suspension (failure to reinstate).

Eric Jordan, East Pidgeon Road, Salem, was fined $75 for no motorcycle endorsement.

Marcus J. Beebout, Moore Street, was fined $200 for obstructing official business with a 90-day suspended jail sentence and three years of intensive probation.

Antoine Stephenson, Burford Street, was fined $200 for resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

Second arraignment was set Sept. 10 for Lindsey Price, Echo Dell Road, on a theft charge.
