— Terry Jeffries reported at 1:19 p.m. Thursday the Lake Cha-Vel sign on state Route 45 in Madison Township was cut off and stolen.
— Philip Urban, 51, Coroapolis, Pa., and Danielle Staats, 32, Columbiana, were making a left turn onto Metz Road from state Route 14 in Unity Township at 5:02 p.m. Tuesday when Staats attempted to pass Urban who was turning into a private drive and struck him. After impact, Staats went off the right side into a utility pole before leaving the scene. Staats was cited for improper passing, hit/skip and driving under suspension.
— Kayla Alexandra Ryder, 26, Sebring, was eastbound on U.S. 62 in Knox Township at 2:29 p.m. Wednesday and was struck by Sara Marie Fraser, 22, Beloit, who was westbound and went left of center. Fraser was cited for lanes of travel.
— Jeremy P. Bahen, 32, Hammondsville, was southbound on state Route 164 in Wayne Township at 7:55 a.m. Thursday and and was struck by a northbound vehicle that went left of center and continued on. After impact, Bahen’s vehicle then went off the right side into a guard rail.
— Tiffany Ann Pieri, 25, East Palestine, was southbound on state Route 170 in Unity Township at 9:03 a.m. Monday and went off the right side into a culvert and overturned into a ditch. She was cited for failure to control and seat belt and taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital with minor injuries.
–On June 13, officers responded to a traffic accident on State Route 39 and West Street. Patrick Mozzochi was cited for failure to control after hitting the car in front of him which was yielding to on coming traffic before making a left hand turn.
–On June 14, officers charged Scott Spann with physical control and failure to control after responded to a vehicle that hit a pole in the Baptist Church lot on Center Street. Officers reported Spann had slurred speech, blood shot eyes, and was unsteady on his feet.
–On June 16, officers charged Tammy Kent with theft after stealing $43 worth of products from the Family Dollar.
–On June 19, officers responded to the theft of a lawn mower on Main Street.
–On June 19, officers responded to the theft of a pressure washer.
–On June 19, officers charged Jennifer Bryan for drug abuse and drug paraphernalia. She was found unresponsive and admitted to taking Fentanyl. She was transported to East Liverpool City hospital. She had a crack pipe, several straws, and a baggy with white powder inside which has been sent out for testing.
–On June 20, officers arrested Ryan Cooper and charged him with criminal damaging, for punching holes into the walls of a rental property on Broadway.
— Brianna Mae Rzucidlo, 23, Youngstown, was cited for failure to control following a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 62 at Middletown Road at 6:30 p.m. June 14 in which she was northbound and came around a bend, noticing another northbound vehicle slowing to turn left. She attempted to avoid contact, but the brakes locked and spun the vehicle around, causing the vehicle to collide. No injuries were reported.
— Terrence L. Jordon Jr., 27, Youngstown, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 62 at state Route 165 at 6:39 p.m. June 14.
— A patrolling officer at 3:17 p.m. June 15 observed two motorcycle drivers perform wheelies at the intersection of state routes 45 and 165. Tyler Jansen Patrick Risden, 23, Federal Avenue, Alliance, was cited for reckless operation, driving under suspension and no motorcycle license. Nicholas M. Clark, 25, South 12th Street, Beloit, was cited for reckless operation.
.– An officer assisted Salem police with a vehicle pursuit crash at U.S. Route 62 and Duck Creek Road at 3:48 a.m. Tuesday in which fugitives from the Columbiana County Jail were involved. The fugitives were not located.
