LISBON — The owner of the second dog accused of attacking and seriously injuring a woman on May 15 at Lake Tomahawk recently filed an appeal to challenge the vicious dog designation against her dog, Beau, with a hearing set for 2 p.m. June 15 in Columbiana County Municipal Court. Liverpool Township trustees approve 2027 budget

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP – The Liverpool Township Board of Trustees met in a regular session meeting and followed that with a budget hearing meeting to approve the 2027 budget on Tuesday. During the Budget Hearing, the trustees unanimously approved the 2027 budget as prepared by Fiscal Officer Shirley Flati. LISBON — Another status hearing is now set for 11:30 a.m. Aug. 6 in the aggravated murder case against Curtis D. Holland, the man identified by prosecutors as the other shooter allegedly involved in the 2021 murder of Brycen Douglas. LEETONIA — The village of Leetonia will be celebrating the grand opening of the new restrooms at the Wurster Memorial Splash Pad with an evening of family fun Friday.
