EAST LIVERPOOL — The East Liverpool Water Department is aware of taste and odor problems affecting customers. The department issued a notice to residents through social media saying it is aware of the “earthy, musty taste and odor problems” affecting East Liverpool customers and that other communities along the Ohio River that treat river water are also experiencing similar conditions. “We are trying to improve the water quality by enhanced treatments at the water plant and complete flushing of the system will begin June 15,” the social media post said. “This will begin ...
