West Virginia man charged in 2023 fatal

LISBON — A jury trial is now set Oct. 15 in Columbiana County Municipal Court for a West Virginia man charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular manslaughter for a 2023 fatal crash. Anthony L. Thornabar, 39, Spencer, W.Va., had a status conference Wednesday and was represented by defense attorney Chris Amato. Thornabar was accused of allegedly causing the Jan. 30, 2023 crash which led to the Jan. 31, 2023 death of 44-year-old Trevor Lee Reed of Salem. Trustees approve township vehicle repairs

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — In preparation for winter, trustees during Tuesday’s Liverpool Township Board of Trustees meeting approved several repairs to township vehicles for the police, road and fire departments.
