Friends of the Banquet to sponsor Banquet in Salem The Dine In or Drive Thru Banquet in Salem will be served from 5 p.m. until the food is gone Monday at the Salem Memorial Building, sponsored by Friends of the Banquet. The menu will include sloppy joe’s augratin potatoes, green beans, applesauce, fresh vegetables and fruit, mandarin oranges. Lisbon to host ATP open house today

LISBON — Area residents, visitors and people who work in Lisbon can attend an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Lisbon Village Hall to share their views on what’s needed to improve travel for pedestrians and bicyclists in Lisbon. The event is for the village’s proposed Active Transportation Plan through the Ohio Department of Transportation. Toole Design representatives, the consulting firm working on the ATP, will be in Lisbon to meet with village officials and the public. Plans also call for representatives to visit the schools today and Thursday.
